After getting off to a rocky start quilting this piece, things went better yesterday.
I decided to do a satin stitch around the fused pieces, and that smoothed things out quite a bit.
The fish at the top actually looks very good with the orange stitching, and the heavy line is consistent with the North American Indian art.
I haven't decided if I am going to do echo quilting around the fused pieces. I think it would look nice, and the negative spaces need something!
More of the same today.....
